THE 3-STEPS
1. THE FATAL FLAW: This is the misbelief, whether it be about the world or themself, that the protagonist holds on to, and is keeping them from moving forward in life.
2. THE INTERNAL CONFLICT: Our character wants something, but they’re also afraid. And that fear has to stop them from achieving what they want. This can (and should) evolve through the course of the narrative.
3. CLEAR GOALS: The momentum of a story, the driving force. What our protagonist wants that will lead them along, and make them an active character in their own life.
